Sustainability has been a hot topic for years. Customers are looking for greener options, and businesses also want to contribute to lowering COâ‚‚ emissions. On top of that, more and more regulations are being introduced that require sustainable choices.
Cardboard is a sustainable material, but its production still impacts nature. That’s why reuse is the most sustainable option, next to simply not producing at all. By reusing boxes, they don’t end up as waste but can be used again.
These are boxes that were overproduced, produced incorrectly, or simply left over. Surplus boxes are brand-new overstock boxes that have never been used. They are cheaper because they come from overproduction.
Even if boxes have been used before, they are often perfectly suitable for another round of use. And we’re not talking about recycling, but about re-using the actual box for shipping. This reduces the need for new production and is therefore a highly sustainable choice. It’s also the most affordable option.
A question we often get. The answer: the quality is just fine. All boxes are manually inspected and only added to our assortment after approval. Re-used boxes may have some tape residue or a sticker, but this doesn’t affect the quality.
