Why use bubble wrap

Bubble wrap is the go-to solution for safely packaging delicate items. Thanks to its air-filled bubbles, it provides excellent protection against impacts, shocks, scratches, and pressure, helping you avoid damage and returns. It’s widely used by webshops, warehouses, distributors, retailers, and movers. Whether you’re sending a small product or wrapping an entire pallet, bubble wrap is flexible, lightweight, and efficient to use.

Tip: Combine bubble wrap with packing peanuts for extra protection of fragile products.

Which size do I need?

Bubble wrap rolls are 100 metres long and available in widths of 50 cm, 100 cm, and 150 cm. The best width depends on the product you want to protect and how you plan to use it.

Protecting parts of a product

When shipping something like a bicycle frame, you often see individual parts wrapped for protection. In this case, a 50 cm roll works better than a 150 cm one.

Wrapping a product

For smaller or less complex items, you can wrap the entire product. Simply place it on the bubble wrap and roll it up. The product size determines the roll width you need.

Filling a box

You can also use bubble wrap to fill empty spaces inside a box. The bigger the space, the wider the roll should be. We recommend only leaving empty space if it serves a functional purpose, as this makes shipments more sustainable. Want an even more eco-friendly option? Consider using packing paper.

Choosing the right roll size will save you both time and reduce waste.

Eco-friendly alternatives to bubble wrap

Sometimes plastic bubble wrap is the best choice, but often it’s used simply out of habit. We encourage you to consider more sustainable alternatives where possible.
