Packaging film4
Protect, wrap, and stabilise your products with the right packaging film. From bubble wrap to octabin liners, find the film you need below.
Why choose plastic packaging film
- Protects against dirt, dust, and moisture
- Makes products easier to transport
- Shields against impacts and shocks
Different applications
Films come in many types and sizes, and can be used in various ways. Here are the most common applications:
Product protection
Plastic bubble wrap has protective air bubbles that provide extra cushioning against impacts and shocks. Wrap products for added protection. View all bubble wrap.
Bundling boxes
Stacking multiple boxes on a pallet? Keep them secure by wrapping them with film. The most common film for this purpose is stretch film. View our range of stretch film sizes

Protecting boxes with plastic film
Sometimes, an extra protective plastic layer is essential. This can be applied either on the outside or inside of the packaging. Two popular solutions are:
- Top sheets: place a top sheet over boxes and wrap them for protection against rain, dirt, and dust.
- Octabin liners: large plastic bags designed to fit perfectly inside an octabin. Octabins are strong, reusable boxes, and with a liner, they last even longer. The liner prevents direct contact between the cardboard and moisture or loose-packed materials.
Sustainable alternatives to packaging film
While plastic films are widely used, they’re not always necessary. There are eco-friendly options that work just as well:
- Need product protection? Consider corrugated cardboard rolls. The fluting cushions impact, and cardboard is a more sustainable choice.
- Need void fill? Choose a smaller box to reduce the need for filler. If filler is required, kraft paper is an attractive, sustainable alternative to plastic.
